Rose Petal Tea--My New Fave

When I want to relax and grab something a little indulgent, I like to have a cup of rose petal tea.  The first time I encountered rose petal tea, I wasn't sure what to expect.  I had mixed feelings about the "rose" flavor.

For my birthday, I received some Rose Petal Tea from The Republic of Tea.  Upon steeping, I could already tell I was in love.  The aroma of the tea is certainly floral.  Since roses are my favorite flowers, the aroma immediately induces a relaxed feeling.
The flavor of the tea is very enjoyable.  It is definitely floral but there is a certain sweetness to the roses that is interesting.  The roses are combined with black tea.  I am definitely a black tea fan--I particularly love Earl Grey--so I love this tea!

The Republic of Tea Rose Petal Tea is a seasonal tea and is available around Valentine's Day.  Tazo Tea also has a rose tea--their Rest Tea--which is great!  It is an herbal tea--so a little different than The Republic of Tea's version.

If you haven't tried a rose tea before, definitely give it a chance!

  1. Sounds great! The massage therapist that I see always prepares some jasmine tea for me after my treatment. The fragrance is so pretty.
