There is another busy weekend ahead! The weather looks like it should be beautiful, so I am sure that everyone will want to be out and about!
The Chicago Botanic Garden is having a Children's Festival in the Japanese Garden both May 19 & 20 from 10AM-3PM. There will be a tea ceremony at 10:30 and music throughout the day. Kids will be able to make miniature carp kites and kimono dolls amongst other crafts. The Garden will be hosting its Spring Plant Sale this weekend as well. Sounds like it will be fun and you can also take advantage of the weather with a nice stroll through the gardens!

Mindful Meals in Arlington Heights is celebrating Food Revolution Day on Saturday with all sorts of healthy activities and food samples. Here is some further info on this healthy eating family event!
The Mt Prospect Public Library has a Wee T'ai Chi program Saturday from 11:00-11:45. Parents and kids will get to learn some t'ai chi together! You can register at www.mppl.org.
