Wednesday Weekend Windup

There is all sorts of holiday fun happening in the burbs this weekend. There are events for Thanksgiving and Christmas as well. I wish that we could slow things down a little and enjoy Thanksgiving but at least all of these events will give the kids a lot to do! Here are some of the cool things we found!

Thursday, November 8 - Sunday, November 11

If you are looking for some unique holiday items or gifts, don't forget about the Arts & Crafts Faire at The Grove in Glenview. Check our previous post for details, costs, etc. as well as our impressions of the fun event.

Thanksgiving: The Great American Holiday will be at Naper Settlement from 1:00PM-3:00PM. The event is geared more towards teens and adults. Registration is necessary and the event costs $12pp. Check here for more information.

Bass Pro Shops in Gurnee will be holding a Preview Night of their Santa's Wonderland from 5PM-8PM. There will be all sorts of fun like free hot chocolate cookies, caroling, and free crafts. Of course, Santa will be present and you may just win a prize! The event is free!

  1. Thanks for the ideas! I just found your blog and I'm so excited to get more ideas for weekends with my little guy. There's also a craft fair at Harper College this weekend that I think I'm going to take him to.
