Punxsutawney Phil at the moment. I keep hearing mumble about how he said it would be an early spring and that she is tired of bringing snowpants to school. (There are rumors that it may snow Sunday night--I won't tell her.) Hopefully, the weather will turn soon and we will all be able to enjoy spring weather!
Here are some fun events this weekend:
Ongoing through the remainder of March:
Norton's USA in Barrington will be holding a Count the Bunnies Contest from March 19-30. Kids 12 and under are welcome to count the bunnies in the store. The child that comes closest will win a basket of goodies. (If more than one child comes closest, the bag will be raffled.) The contest is free and will be fun for families as they look at all of the awesome made in the USA goodies at Norton's USA. Check the website for hours.
Saturday, March 23
Glenview will be having an Eggstravaganza
and Family Carnival at Park Center from 10AM-12PM. The egg hunt begins at 10AM and costs $5
per child. Tickets for carnival games may be purchased at the door. I did not see any prices for these.
