A few months ago we visited Moe's Southwest Grill for the first time. We were quickly won over by the fresh salsa bar and the range of fresh ingredients that you can add to any menu item. Well, when I say we, I think that I am referring to my husband and myself. I believe that my daughter was actually won over by the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine. We do not allow her to have soda very often, so this is always a big treat!

Tonight, I decided to try a different menu item other than my standard burrito bowl. My husband followed suit and we both went for tacos. I had chicken taco with a crispy corn shell, black beans, grilled onions, cucumbers, lettuce and guacamole. He had a pork taco with black beans, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo and fresh jalapeno in a crispy corn shell. We both enjoyed our tasty tacos!

I really loved how my taco was wrapped. The taco was sealed pretty tight in foil, keeping everything together.

As you can see, the tacos are filled to the brim. I just love that you can really craft your own creations and add whatever you like from the ingredient selection. Usually, when I add things like guac and cucumbers, I get slapped with an extra charge. This is not the case at Moe's!

Something that we learned about Moe's today--they have nights when kids eat free. At our local Moe's, Sunday happens to be one of those nights. So, my daughter's cheese quesadilla meal was free today. What a nice surprise!

If you are looking for a quick meal, Moe's is a good option. No matter which menu item you choose, you can craft it to your tastes. Plus, I love that Moe's shares its nutritional information online, so you can have a clearer idea of what you are eating. Be sure to check with your local Moe's for details on the kids eat free nights
