Wednesday Weekend Windup {Fun, fun, fun!}

We are resuming the Wednesday Weekend Windup after a one week hiatus. Summer is so hectic, we did not get one set up for last week! We have great weather ahead, so this weekend should be a good one to be outside! I am glad that the temperatures are not quite as high as last year. It definitely makes summer more pleasant!

There are so many wonderful events this weekend! Here are some that we found:

Don't forget about the Lego Club at Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights. The free event is from 9:30AM-11:30AM and geared towards those ages 3-10. There will be a free snack provided!
What a fun and creative way to spend the morning!

 Itasca Fest begins and will run through the 14th. The fest is located at Washington Park. There will be all sorts of fun including food, carnival rides, kids activities, music, an antique flea market on Saturday (8AM-5PM) and a car show on Sunday (2PM-6PM). 1. So many great things to do! I think we're going to try to hit up one of the art fests this weekend and go to a splash pad with the nice weather!

    1. The weather has been pretty good this year for hitting up fests, so we will probably hit one up, too! Last year, we missed most of them because it was so hot! Splash pads are fun for the little ones. Have you seen the one near The Glen Town Center?
