Wednesday Weekend Windup

Did you venture out during this latest polar vortex? We ended up staying in for most of it. We spent some time crafting, reading and putting together puzzles. We had fun, but I am officially tired of being cooped up. Hopefully, we will no longer be trapped inside!

The are a lot of fun events this weekend. We are hoping to hit a couple of them. Here are some ideas for your weekend........

Wednesday, January 29

If you are in the mood for a little drive, Lake Geneva will be having its
WinterFest and US National Snow Sculpting Competition, through February 8. I have never been to a snow sculpting competition before so this sound pretty cool! Besides the snow sculpting, there will be magic, s'mores, human dog sled competition, beach party and plenty more. Check the schedule before you go to see what's happening! Grand Geneva will also be having its Winter Carnival on Saturday, so check for details on that as well!
