One of the reasons I *dreaded* taking my daughter to crowded places when she was younger was the fear of her getting separated. I think this fear may stem back to when my sister actually did get separated from the rest of the family at Sesame Place. She was only about 3 or 4, so talk about panic! So, I was always worried about my daughter getting separated and not knowing how to contact us. Well, one enterprising mom turned her panic into a way that can help moms everywhere have piece of mind at places like the mall, fairs, amusement parks and more! After worrying about losing her kids at an amusement park, Michele Welsh came up with the idea of SafetyTats.

During her family outing to the amusement park, Michele wrote her cell phone number on each child's arm and explained to them how to reconnect with their parents should there be an issue. The problem--the numbers were written with a ball point pen, so they kept smudging and smearing. Soon, Michele's plan for SafetyTats was hatched. With a tattoo, there would be no fear that the kids would "erase" the numbers.
Recently, we had the chance to try out SafetyTats as well as some very special Valentine's Day tattoos made by SafetyTats. I have to tell you that these tattoos are super-easy to apply, sweatproof, waterproof and made right here in the USA! Awesome! The tattoos are also non-toxic, latex-free and hypoallergenic.
SafetyTat has a line of several different tattoos for insuring that your child has vital information with them when separated from you. All of the choices look pretty cute! Plus, there are fun tattoos and you can even tattoo a little kiss on your child to help ease separation anxiety. There are nice directions on how to apply each type of tattoo as well as how to remove them.
We found the tattoos super-easy to use and my daughter is thrilled with her Love Bug Tattoo! Honestly, this tattoo was the easiest I have ever put on. One the tattoo was affixed, the backing literally fell off. In the past, I have had to coax off the back in hopes that the tattoo was not sticking to it. Plus, look at the rich colors! Wonderful!
What to try SafetyTats out? One lucky reader will get the opportunity to try SafetyTats! We will be giving away one package of the Original SafetyTats.
