|Prairie Burning at Spring Valley Nature Center|
This week, Earth Day and Arbor Day serve as reminders of how important conservation is. There are many wonderful events throughout the area for you to experience nature while learning about conservation with your family. A couple of weeks ago, we attended a prescribed prairie burning at Spring Valley Nature Center in Schaumburg. Prairie burning is very necessary and vital to the prairie ecosystem. We found the event to be a brilliant and powerful celebration of the awesome power of nature! This weekend provides so many opportunities to celebrate nature while creating family memories--get out there!
