The Morton Arboretum in Lisle will be celebrating America with the Travel America Summer Festival July 5-6 and it is going to be a grand way to celebrate our country during the Fourth of July Weekend! I am totally thrilled to share information about this event with you and think it will be a splendid addition to your Fourth of July festivities!
The event will run 10AM-4PM both July 5 and 6 and will treat you to a taste of different regions throughout the U.S.A. through live music, food, games, tram tours of the Arboretum's tree collections and much more. The live music will include a sampling of styles that can be heard in different areas of the country including zydeco, the blues, mariachi, Native American music, banjo music and much more! There will be opportunities to learn how to square dance and line dance. You will also be able to watch the artistry of Native American dance! Storytelling, yodeling and a pie eating contest will also be part of the fun! There will be food trucks and the Gingko Grill will be firing up some classics.
The event is free with admission to the Arboretum. Admission is $12 Adults ages 18–64,
