Wednesday Weekend Wind Up {Some Father's Day Fun}

I love summer weekends! There is always something fun to do! On top of it being summer, this weekend is Flag Day and we have a fun and educational flag project you can do in a post from last year. We haven't been crafting so much last year but my schedule **finally** eases up next week and I already have an idea........

Speaking of ideas, here is some fun inspiration for this weekend:

Thursday, June 12

Libertyville will be fully in the swing of summer with Libertyville Days Thursday through Sunday. There will be lots of fun--carnival, musical entertainment, food, arts and crafts fair and more. There will be a free a kids party from 10AM-12PM on June 13. To join in the kids party, kids just need to bring a nonperishable food item for donation. Creatively Caring is helping put together the Kids Party, so I am sure it will be tons of fun! Be sure to check out the full schedule for the fair this weekend.

For some evening family fun, bring the fam to Family Bingo Night at Norton's U.S.A. in Barrington. The event is free and runs from 6PM-8PM and you may even win a gift certificate to the store! Norton's U.S.A. is celebrating its 7th Anniversary June 10-14 and there are deals on American-made products each day. Check www.nortonsusa.com for more info!

Friday, June 13

Friday is the last day to enjoy a Kids Adventure Hunt  in Arlington Heights. You can start the hunt any time between 10AM-3PM. Your family will learn about Arlington Heights through fun and interactive hunts--choose between history focused or photo.
