A Little Time and a Keyboard: Warming Up for Christmas Free Family Event {Arlington Heights}

Warming Up for Christmas Free Family Event {Arlington Heights}

Sunday, November 9, 2014

With Thanksgiving in a few weeks, we know that tree lightings are just around the corner! Arlington Heights will be holding its Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on November 28, the Friday after Thanksgiving, starting at 4:30PM. The lighting occurs at North School Park where a number of toy-themed displays will be lit. If you have not been to North School Park during the holidays before, I definitely recommend it. The displays are truly magical to walk through especially for younger children! Over 70,000 lights are used to light the displays, so you can imagine it is pretty impressive!
To extend a lovely family evening, why not head over to nearby Bradish Associates for festive Christmas activities? Yapa Events and Bradish Associates have put together a free and fun family event to help families usher in the new season. Cookie decorating, a Christmas craft and hot cocoa--so much fun! Plus, the event is free! What a way to kick off the holidays! Below are further details about the event. You can also check out our experience at last year's event. The number of tickets are limited, so you do need to register:
