Wednesday Weekend Windup {Enjoying the Holidays!}


Ok, I know, I know--it is crunch time! Hanukkah has started and we are in single digits to Christmas! Definitely, a brilliantly magical time of year! But, the last push can be trying! Try to take some time away and enjoy one of the fun family events this weekend. Here are some that sound particularly interesting to us!

December 19 Winter Solstice Celebration, Elmhurst Art Museum, 3:00PM-7:00PM, Visit with Santa, enjoy cookies, create artwork and view current exhibits, free!

December 19 Winter Figure Skating Exhibition, Glenview Ice Center, Glenview, 5-8 PM, free!

December 19-January 4 Winter Carnival, Glenview, character skates, hockey events, Enchanted Skate Breakfast, other events, some require registration, see schedule for times and costs
