March 1-April 30 Lego Architecture Display at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library (Library closed on Easter)

Saturday, April 4

April 4 Easter Egg Hunts at local Mariano's, 7:30AM, kids will be broken into age groups
free! (plus free coffee & donuts for parents)

April 4 Barb Sorenson Acoustic Pop/Rock Concert at Christie's Dairy Delights, Palatine, 8:30AM-10:30AM, free with coffee/ice cream, etc purchase


April 4 Easter Egg Hunt at Cantigny Park, Wheaton, 9AM-12PM, egg hunt to run continuously, families will be given a map to help them, 5 eggs per child, turn in eggs for prizes, Mr. and Mrs. Bunny available for pictures, paint an egg shaped ornament ($2) while supplies last, $5 per car for parking, free

April 4 Prospect Heights Easter Egg Hunt, 110 W Camp McDonald Rd, 10AM-11AM, hunt starts promptly at 10AM, bring your own baskets and a camera for pictures with the bunny, free! 

April 4 Culver's Easter Egg Hunt, Culver's Palatine, 10AM, pictures with Scoopie before, $1 mini mixers, free!

April 4 Bunny Bash, Mike Rylko Community Park, Buffalo Grove, egg hunts will start at 10:15AM, (age groups 2-4, 5-7 and 8-10),  face painting, games, pictures with the bunny, bring your basket and camera, free!

April 4 Something's Fishy with the live music of Andre Gloeckner, The Book Market, The Glen Town Center, 10:30AM-11:30AM, ocean-themed storytime and craft with live music, free, register online. for kids ages 2-6


April 4 Easter Egg Hunt at Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 11AM, free but must register, call 847-255-1225

April 4 Eggs-travaganza Easter Egg Festival, Prairie Lakes Community Center, Des Plaines, 10AM-12PM, decorate a plastic egg and fill it full of candy, take a picture with the Easter bunny, controlled hunt at 11AM for 3-5 year olds, free!

April 4 18th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Lake County Fairgrounds, Grayslake, 11:30AM sharp, 10,000 eggs, free, bring nonperishable items for the food pantry

April 4 Russian Easter Egg Traditions, Des Plaines History Center, 1PM-4PM, learn about the Easter traditions of the Russian Orthodox Church and decorate your own egg, ages 5-12, $3 per child

April 4 Eggstravaganza, Crabtree Nature Center, 1PM, find out what starts as an egg and create your own nest, free!

Sunday, April 5

April 5 Easter Brunch and Egg Hunt at Pinstripes, local Pinstripes locations, egg hunt is at 9:00AM, baskets with $3 donation to No Child Hungry, make reservation for brunch, check post for more details

April 5 Eggstravaganza, Faith Lutheran Church, Arlington Heights, 9:45AM-10:45AM, Easter story with an egg hunt to follow, free!

April 5 Cold-blooded Crawl, River Trails Nature Center, Northbrook, 1:30PM, what is it like for native turtles, frogs and snakes to wake from hibernation?, meet resident herps, free!
