September is here but that doesn't mean that the fun needs to stop! There is a wagon load of FUN this weekend! I say wagon, because I am sure that a bunch of you will be filling up wagons with apples and we have a fun place for you to do that at on our list! Check it out:

September 1-October 31 Amaze N Apples at Royal Oak Farm Orchard in Harvard--a fall maze with a spin--it is made from apple trees! Check out this farm for apple picking, family fun activities including the maze, a bakery and more! Check website for hours, open daily September and October.

July 17-Nov 1, 2015 Nature Connects: Lego with Art by Sean Kenney, Morton Arboretum, amazing lego structures honoring nature, 27 figures, free with admission, $14 per adult, $12 seniors 65+, $9 kids 2-17, under 2 free

May 23-Sept 7 Butterflies and Blooms, Chicago Botanic Garden, 10AM-5PM, $6 per adult, $5 per senior, $4 per child 3-12, 2 and under free, members get $1 discount, parking $30 per car on weekend

May 23-Sept 19 Butterfly House at Peck Farm, Geneva, Mon-Sat 10AM-5PM, Sun 12PM-5PM, suggested $2 donation per person, $5 per family, see our previous visit to Peck Farm

Friday, September 4

September 4 Pajama Jam, Orbit Skate Center, Palatine, 7PM-11PM, where your pajamas for a skating pajama party, bring pillows for the biggest pillow fight, $8.50 per person, $25.50 for family of  4, $3 skate rental

September 4-7 Last Fling, Naperville, live music, carnival, family fun land, dog disc series, rib cook off and much more, check out website for concert and carnival tickets

Saturday, September 5

September 5-7 Septemberfest, Robert Atcher Municipal Center, Schaumburg, carnival, Labor Day Parade, Taste of Schaumburg, arts and crafts, live music, strolling entertainment, see schedule

September 5 Fox Valley Irish Fest, Aurora, 3PM-10PM, Irish dancers, children's activities, Jamesons tastings for adults, bands and more, tickets are $10 for those 15 and older, $5 for kids 14 and under, free for those 2 and under, can buy tickets online, parking may be $2 depending on where you park

September 5-6 Annual Civil War Encampment, Graue Mill, Oak Brook, 11AM-4PM, 10th Illinois Regiment encampment, see life in the 1860's, period demos, $4.50 per adult to tour the mill, $2 per child 4-12, $4 for seniors, 3 and under free

Sunday, September 6
