A Little Time and a Keyboard: Great Lakes Proud Introduction and Giveaway {11/28/15}

Great Lakes Proud Introduction and Giveaway {11/28/15}

Friday, November 20, 2015

**Disclosure: I did receive Great Lake Proud products to review for you. No other compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own.

Recently, I had the pleasure of learning about Great Lakes Proud--a really cool company out of Michigan. Great Lakes Proud sells stickers and other products highlighting the Great Lakes while simultaneously generating money for charities. The stickers are a neat way to display your pride for the Great Lakes region with quite a few color and size combinations available. Plus, they are printed in Northern Ohio--made in USA is always a plus in my book!

Here is one of my stickers in action! They are pretty easy to apply and the instructions are conveniently printed on the back. Voila!

In a sea of laptops, I will now know which is mine--until I encounter more Great Lakes Proud fans, of course!

Eco-friendly T-Shirts:

Great Lakes Proud not only sells stickers but an array of other items carrying the Great Lakes emblem. I got to try out a couple of these items and I have been pretty happy with them! In fact, I am totally in love with my new Great Lakes Proud t-shirt. A soft, casual t-shirt--who wouldn't be happy? Amazingly, the t-shirt has been crafted using fiber created from recycled bottles blended with organic cotton. So, eco-friendly too! The t-shirts are made in Michigan so what isn't to love?

Here I am displaying my Great Lakes pride in Pittsburgh during a recent visit! With these products, the Great Lakes can come with us on our travels!

Adorable Wine Glasses:

Additionally, I tried out a Great Lakes wine glass. When thinking about Michigan, you have to think about Michigan wine as well! A perfect fit! The glass is adorable and lightweight. Really a wonderful daily drinking glass with Great Lakes flare! The glasses are made in the U.S.A. and printed in Michigan. I think that they would be particularly festive for a summer party near a lake or a barbecue!

I have been very happy with my novelties from Great Lakes Proud. They make cute gifts for our friends that love the Great Lakes or perhaps for those from the region that are now living away. They even make for great souvenirs or gifts for travelers. Great Lakes Proud is a very forward thinking company and 15% of each purchase is donated to charity mainly Great Lakes based organizations. In fact, one of the past recipients was a Shedd Aquarium program for cleaning and bringing awareness to the Great Lakes.

Giveaway:

Cool company, right? Great Lakes Proud is so cool that they would like me to giveaway the same products that I received to one lucky reader! The giveaway is open to US residents 18-years-old and older and will end on 11/28/15. Please enter below. Good luck!
