  • April 8-September 25 Ribbit! The Exhibit, Morton Arboretum, Lisle, 23 larger-than-life copper frog sculptures of frogs performing different activities throughut the arboretum, free with admission, $14 Adults ages 18–64, $12 Seniors ages 65+ , $9 Youth ages 2–17 (discounted admission on Wednesdays)

  • June 5 Get out and go scavenger hunt, Gallery Park, Glenview, 10AM-3PM, check in at Park Center anytime between 10 and 2 to get map, walk or bike while anwsering clues, free
  • June 5 Kite Fly Naperville, Frontier Sports Complex, 10AM-4PM, live entertainment, candy drop, kite demos, food trucks, visit from Neptune fire truck, free event, $5 for unlimited inflatable jumping
  • June 5 Good Ol'Summertime Fest, Clayson House Museum, Palatine, 11AM-4PM, games, activities, entertainment, a cannon, free refreshments, pleine air artists, wedding dresses through the decades, free admission
  • June 5 Explore the Forest: 100 Years and Counting!, Crabtree Nature Center, Barrington, 12PM-4PM, outdoor fun including tree climbing, archery, touch a fish, pitching a tent and more, free
