Bringing innovation to kids at the Pleasant Prairie Mini Maker Faire in Wisconsin.

Need a spark of creativity? Curious about how innovators come up with inventive ideas? Pleasant Prairie Rec Plex just over the border in Pleasant Prairie, WI will be holding a Mini Maker Faire Saturday, November 26 from 10AM-3PM. The affair will give families a unique opportunity to meet innovators, experiment during hands-on workshops and experience invention up close. 


At the event, be ready to:

  • Meet an amateur telescope maker.
  • Learn how to use a spinning wheel.
  • Learn about electricity.
  • See robots and energy efficient vehicles.
  • Meet the Lost in Space Robot.
  • Watch a blacksmith at work.
  • Shop local artists.

• Pottery workshops  
• Modeling make and take 
• Nerdy Derby 
• Tinkercad 
• Pressmen hats with Kenosha News 
• Thermo forming masks

• Launch paper airplanes 
• Use a ham radio 
• Try your hand at calligraphy
