We opened our June Degustabox to discover all sorts of goodies. If you are unfamiliar with Degustbox, Degustabox is a mail order box that delivers a surprise selection of foodie goodies every month -- or how ever long you choose. Each month we can't wait to see what is packed inside. Every month we are not only surprised but find items that we love. Here is a peek at June:

You may already be able to tell but we were able to combine several of the products in order to put together a meal. We had fun tacos using the Goya Tortillas, Goya Seasoning and Goya Black Beans.

Above you can see we used the seasoning, white corn tortillas and black beans along with fresh vegetable ingredients.
Of course, we had to have shrimp tacos!
Voila! Our tacos -- shrimp and mushroom with seasoning, tortillas and a side of black beans from Goya. I love that Degustabox inspires meals like this!
I also tried the True Citrus Lemon packets -- I mean I had to because they are lemony and easy for travel! The packets are small and filled with real crystallized lemon oil and lemon juice.
The packets are easy to use. Since they are small, you can more readily proportion how much lemon you would like to use in your glass. I like a lot of lemon, so I used three. You can also use these packets in cooking but I think for me they work better for travel. They do pack a lemony flavor which is perfect for those of us that love lemon!
This month has been busy, so this is all that we have been able to try so far. I am itching to try the Mutti Peeled Tomatoes. Mutti tomatoes are always high quality. I am getting my CSA at the end of the week, so maybe a vegetable soup is in the future?
