Wednesday Weekend Windup {Easter Fun}

I just checked the weather for this weekend and it appears that we will actually be in the 50's. Hooray! It looks like it will be just the right temperature for all of the egg hunts this weekend! There is a small chance of some showers on Saturday. Hopefully, rain won't get in the way. Either way, it is certainly a fun time of year. I have to admit though, I am not quite ready for Easter. We just celebrated St. Patrick's Day a couple of weeks ago! I finally pulled out the Easter decorations Monday. I guess they won't get much face time this year!

Here are the interesting events we found in our area this weekend:

March 19-30 Norton's USA in Barrington is having a Count the Bunnies Contest. Kids 12 and under can count all of the bunnies in the store and enter a contest to win a basket full of goodies. The child closest will win the basket. If there is more than one child with the closest number, the basket will be raffled off. Check the website for hours. Don't forget to peruse all of the Made in USA goodies while you are at the store!

March 25-29 marks the Easter Event at Bass Pro Shops in Gurnee from 6:00PM-8:00PM each evening. The free event includes a bunny visit and crafts on Friday!
