Wow! It is the last weekend of Winter Break here. And, just on cue, the FRIGID weather is coming back NEXT WEEK! I have always said that the schools should consider making the first week of January part of Winter Break. So not looking forward to combating the cold next week......I can't complain too much, though--we had some pretty good weather over break!
This weekend is a little slower event wise. But, you don't want to miss your opportunity for last calls on Illumination and Wonderland Express. Here are our picks:

Justin & Liam You Write the Songs, Barrington Public Library, 1PM-2PM, help write the songs during this interactive concert, free, bring Barrington library card, patrons of other libraries admitted as space allows.
Dinosaur Discoveries, Lizzadro Museum, Elmhurst, Children become dinosaur detectives with “Paleontologist Illinois Bones” to learn about the world of dinosaurs. Fossils and props are used to create an awareness of dinosaur characteristics. Snow and S'mores, Crabtree Nature Center, Barrington, 1PM-2PM, join naturalists in the nature play area for play, a campfire and s'mores, free but dress for the weather!
What's On The Menu? River Trail Nature Center, Northbrook, 3:00PM-4:00PM, animal feeding time, learn about animals at the preserve during their feeding time, free!
