The craft was really easy to do and something that my 6-year-old could do with minimal supervision. The kit came with the night light, a plastic butterfly shade, and five glitter paint pens.
We set up our little art area with some newspaper. Then, my daughter went to town. The only real issue that she had is that sometimes the little tip of the paint pens would get caught in the cap. She was unable to pop them out and reattach them on her own. I think that this was occurring because she may have been twisting while pulling the cap. But, with a little one, anything is game!
The craft had to dry overnight. The next day, we had our new night light. The craft was simple and adds a little of my daughter's own flair to her room. Also, the night light has a switch--which is awesome!

This is really neat, I wonder if my 3 year old is old enough to do it with my help... By the way, thanks for your comment on my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI think that your 3-year-old would be able to do it with your help. The paint pens just need a little squeezing. :)
