Nutphree's message definitely resonates with us as we have some children near and dear to us with nut allergies. The great thing about Nutphree's---parents, schools, and daycares have options for ordering cupcakes so that all children can enjoy the same delicious cupcakes together. (It just breaks my heart when our friends cannot share store-bought cupcakes with us!)
Recently, we had the opportunity to speak with one of the owners of Nutphree's, Brian Walker, and to try some of his creations. Brian's knowledge and passion about creating quality products for those with and without nut allergies to enjoy was evident. He is very excited to provide a product that people with and without nut allergies can enjoy together without worries. Additionally, those with nut allergies can safely eat a cupcake right at Nutphree's, giving them a worry-free option for having a treat away from home!
Now, on to the taste test! We brought Mini-Mel and Mini-Kat to taste some of the goodies with us.
Mel's take: I tasted the red velvet cupcake. I was pretty amazed by how moist the cupcake was. The frosting had the perfect cream cheese to sugar ratio. It is clear that the ingredients used are high quality and the cupcakes are sure to be favorites of everyone! Nutphree's has a cute setup and is a nice place for kids with and without nut allergies to come together for a sweet treat.
Mini-Mel's take: I need to have these for my birthday! (Note: Mini-Mel's birthday isn't until April, but she is already thinking about it!) They should be in Cupcake Wars!
Kat's take: I found my cupcake succulent,
very moist - indistinguishable from any other great cupcake I've eaten in my
life. Will definitely return to Nutphrees for more...
Mini-Kat's take: My cupcakes were delicious--especially the chocolate one that I ate!
Currently, Nutphree's offers chocolate, vanilla, yellow, and red velvet cupcakes. They are working on some seasonal cupcakes including some pumpkin cupcakes and some Halloween inspired offerings with gummies on top. Besides traditional sized cupcakes, minis are also available. Brian let us know that they would like to offer more baked goods in the future, so definitely keep your eye out for new offerings!
