PEEPS have really been strutting their PEEPSONALITY lately! The new line of PEEPS Minis are creative and pretty for summertime gatherings. With the sun shining today, I thought it would be the perfect time to whip out some of my new PEEPS Minis to try. While I do enjoy the traditional Chocolate Crème, I just had to try the Sour Watermelon and Strawberry Crème. It is picnic season and these two sound perfect for a picnic!
My daughter and I eagerly opened the packages to take a look at the adorable minis. The Strawberry Crème and Sour Watermelon are pretty bright--so really a good match for a fun summer party. The Sour Watermelon is green on the outside with a pink middle--just like everyone's favorite summertime treat! The PEEPS definitely put a smile on my daughter's face! PEEPS are definitely one of those childhood treats that we all love.
Of course, we had to try these little chicks. The Chocolate Crème did not disappoint. The Strawberry Crème actually had a more subtle strawberry flavor than I was expecting--which was good! The Sour Watermelon was fun but a tad on the sweet side for us. But, these are PEEPS, so who can complain! Plus, at 13 calories per chick, PEEPS are nice little treat!
We love brands that are making strides to be eco-friendly. I just learned that PEEPS Minis are made in landfill free facility right here in the US. Pretty cool!
