To say that we love hummus in this house would be an understatement. I don't think there is ever a time that we do not have hummus in the house or at least the remnants of hummus in a container. So, we were of course pretty eager to try Naf Naf Grill when it came to Randhurst.

Naf Naf Grill first began in Naperville but has been gradually spreading its Middle Eastern flavors throughout the Chicagoland area. Naf Naf has a pretty simple menu which makes selection easy. Options include chicken and beef shawarma, falafel, hummus and baba ghanoush with a host of sides and add-ons. The food is prepared before you which is a very welcome thing!

We have been to Naf Naf twice. My husband tried the chicken shawarma and the beef shawarma, preferring the chicken shawarma. There are several fresh sauces including the S'khug which is a zippy pepper sauce--as you can see, my husband likes it!

My daughter and I get the Veggie Feast to share when we visit Naf Naf. The feast comes with four falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, your choice of veggie sides--we go with salad and purple cabbage--and a warm, fresh pita. On my second visit to Naf Naf I did forget to remind them to put my dressing on the side so the Veggie Feast became a little flooded--just a tip for your visit! I opt for the Tahini which I enjoy in a bit more moderation.

You can also make your meals into rice bowls, try naf naf fries or enjoy a cup of lentil soup. My half of the Veggie Feast always fills me up so I have not had the chance to try the lentil soup. It is definitely on my list! I am also a big fan of the rice bowl so I may need to try a rice bowl concoction as well!

I did enjoy the decor at Naf Naf. Everything was pretty neat and orderly. The minimalist decor makes it easy to sit and enjoy a bite without too much stress.

Naf Naf is a nice little place to try out if Middle Eastern flavors are up your alley and you need a quick bite!
