I know what is slowly creeping into your mind. Halloween is less than a week away---so, we will soon be delving right into holiday territory and you will really need to get those gifts together. The last few months I have been receiving a surprise in the mail. Well, actually I have been receiving a box full of surprises! Enter Degustabox as a gift idea for the holidays!

October's Degustabox marked my third experience with this new subscription box service. Each box has been full of a wide range of surprises including items to help with meals, treats, snacks and even healthy food options. You can see above HOW MUCH I received this month. Plus, everything is full sized -- so you have plenty to experience. I have found that each box has a mix of familiar and new brands. Checking out our monthly Degustabox is a fun new experiment. So, I am thinking receiving one in a month like January when there isn't much to do will be fun!

Sampling my treats:

I was totally enthusiastic about both Wasa and Jones being in my box! Both brands have been on my list for awhile but I haven't had time to enjoy them until now! One of my snacks this month while working on writing --- goat cheese on Wasa Thins. Yum!

Of course, another favorite treat while working -- Numi Tea! The Numi Tea enclosed was a sampler of 8 different teas. What a great way to have a little calm while sampling various teas!

An awesome new discovery: Lovely Candy! Lovely Candy is a family run company crafting candy made from healthier ingredients while being treats. They are all natural, gluten free, non-GMO and lack high fructose corn syrup and artificial ingredients. We tried the fruit chews which actually are made with real fruit. Nice little treats that my daughter happily gobbled up!

Speaking of treats, I did have to crack open the Jones Pumpkin Pie Soda. I have to say, this is one of those items that was better than I was expecting! I loved the pumpkin spice wrapped in a cream soda.

As many of you know, we explored Iceland earlier this month. Of course, Degustabox came with us! We enjoyed White Cheddar Cheese Palo Popcorn while admiring waterfalls. Loved the popcorn--very cheesy!

On a hiking trip last weekend, I brought along Hometown Bagel chips. Just what we needed after a 3 mile hike!

While writing this, I did dive into another snack -- Crown Nut Sriracha Almonds. Crunch with a kick. Sriracha is a pretty popular flavor, so you can see that Degustabox is up with what is new and interesting to us foodies out there!
