A Little Time and a Keyboard: July Degustabox: Full of Foodie Treats

July Degustabox: Full of Foodie Treats

Saturday, July 22, 2017

Over the past year, I have had a blast checking out a new Degustabox each month. Each box is full to the brim with surprises! The boxes have been a mix of ingredients that spark creation, comfort foods, snacks and healthy food treats. This month's box was a yummy blend of old favorites and new items to try. Of course, I did receive some of my favorite snackables to bring hiking, too!

Take a peek inside:

  • Karma Wellness Water (1 bottle)
  • Vermont Smoke & Cure (2 sticks)
  • Kala Beans
  • King Arthur Flour Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • Goya Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Mutti Tomato Sauce
  • Wise Popcorn Snack Bags (4)
  • Mrs. Thinsters Cookie Thins
  • Waffle Waffle
Kala Beautiful Beans Tropical Curry Flavor:

So, I do happen to LOVE Kala Beans and actually tried them after discovering them in an earlier Degustabox. Of course, I HAD to rip the bag of Kala Beans open immediately! The flavor of the Kala Beans in this box happened to be Tropical Curry and had a lovely lime zing. I love Kala Beans because they are a high protein snack and tend to fill me up better than empty calorie snacks that are all too easy to reach for.

Mrs. Thinster's Brownie Batter Cookies:

Did anyone say chocolate? July's box had a lovely bag of Mrs. Thinster's Brownie Batter Cookies. Mrs. Thinsters are crispy cookies made from all natural ingredients. I love crispy cookies -- especially chocolate ones -- so yum!

Vermont Smoke and Cure Cracked Pepper Beef & Pork Sticks:

I love the Vermont Smoke and Cure sticks because they are easy protein snacks to add to your bag for hiking. Added bonus -- they don't have the junk other meat sticks do.

Karma Wellness Water:

So, it has been incredibly hot here in Chicago. I was pretty glad to have a Karma Wellness Water to try out! I popped it in the fridge for  a cold drink. My Karma Wellness Water was pomegranate. Nice, fruity flavor packed with vitamins wrapped in a nice cold beverage for a hot day!

Want to try it out?

Degustaboxes cost $19.99 per month and there is no shipping. Woo hoo! My readers have a special coupon code to receive their first box for $9.99 with code 69ODU. Boxes are valued at $30 so this is an awesome deal if you want to try it out! These types of things are especially fun for the kids, so may be a nice little gift!

**Disclosure: I did receive a Degustabox so that I could experience it and review it for you. No other compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own.
