Halloween House Arlington Heights, Illinois

The last few years we have enjoyed visiting a local home that really gets into the Halloween spirit here in Arlington Heights. The family assembles a number of Halloween scenes and has a walk through path beckoning visitors through the graveyard. Each year we find old favorites and new assemblages.

Haunted band playing!
You never know what you will find on your haunted visit. Ghouls and goblins are ready to scare at every corner. Some pop up unexpectedly. Various effects add to the spook-factor!

I highly recommend visiting this haunted scene near the corner of N Forrest and Oakton (1119 N Forrest) in Arlington Heights. The family has put in much love and attention to create a chilling assemblage for the community. I recently learned from the Daily Herald that Michael Podlin, who puts together this amazing display with wife TammySue Margalit and their children, has been diagnosed with a recurrence of pancreatic cancer. So, I think it would be wonderful if we could get as many community members to visit this year and show the family how much we appreciate what they have shared with the community.. The display is up through Halloween.
