Arlington Cake Box Bakery in Arlington Heights has long been one of our favorite places to pick up baked goods. If you are looking for an old school bakery, Arlington Cake Box Bakery is the place! Family run since 1949, the bakery has an incredible selection of baked goods. While many of us look for sweet temptations at bakeries, they also have a selection of breads and rolls. Truly, Cake box has one of the largest bakery selections I have every seen.
Of course, we are always tempted by their sweets. Good thing they have them in all sorts of shapes and sizes. So, you don't have to leave with a huge cake but rather can indulge in a smaller petit four.
My husband is a big fan of coffee cakes and danishes -- of which Arlington Cake Box Bakery has many.
My daughter trends towards the cookies. With so many fun iced cookies, choose one can be difficult!
I fell in love with these adorable turkey mini cakes -- both the live and cooked variety!
What did we come home with? We brought home a pumpkin slice, a pecan pie slice and a turkey cookie. While we did bring them home, they certainly did not last long! Yum! Don't you love the old school bakery box? Arlington Cake Box brings back so many memories and on every visit we discover a delicious baked good! Love it!
