  • March 18-April 13 Barrington Shoppers Egg Hunt -- find eggs hidden throughout Barrington
  • March 23 - June 2 Simply Spring: The Butterfly Exhibit at Nicholas Conservatory, Rockford, go early as space is limited, adults $6 (Resident), $8 (Non-Resident), senior $4 (Resident), $6 (Non-Resident), Veterans $4 (Resident), $6 (Non-Resident), ages 5-17 $4 (Resident), $6 (Non-Resident). ages 3-4 $2 (Resident), $3 (Non-Resident), ages 2 and under free ($4 admission on Tropical Tuesdays), enjoy butterflies flying around in a tropical setting without leaving the Midwest!

  • April 7 Prime Real Estate, Crabtree, Barrington, 1PM, learn about why cavity nesting and materials are provided for birds, see if you can see a tree swallow, free
  • April 7 Naperville Plays! Features Sheep Sunday, Naper Settlement, 1PM-4PM, sheepherding demos, hands-on crafts, storytelling and more, $12/Adult, $10/Senior (62+), $8/Youth (4-12). Naperville residents free with proof of residency, members of  DuPage Children's Museum are free
  • April 7 Erth's Prehistoric Aquarium Adventure, Lake County Community College, 3PM-5PM, explore ocean depths to learn about marine organisms from years ago and some alive today, actors, tech, puppets, science and imagination create an amazing experience
