Sharing Tasty Meals and Small Plates at Mezé Mediterráneo in Schaumburg, Illinois
**Disclosure: No compensation was received for this post. All opinions are 100% my own.
Last fall, we had an urge to eat somewhere a little different than our normal repertoire of restaurants for a dinner. We LOVE the concept of small plates and LOVE hummus plates. So, Mezé Mediterráneo immediately appealed. However, we did not expect the large selection Mezé's Greek-influenced Mediterranean menu offered.

Delicious and refreshing hummus and tzatziki platter to start our meal. |
On our first visit, we enjoyed patio seating and took awhile to peruse the menu. Both Warm and Cold Tapas, Flatbreads, Shareable Entrees and Sides tempted us. We settled in for a platter of hummus and tzatziki to start. Absolutely delicious and perfect for noshing before the rest of our meal.

Patatas Bravas piled high! |
Mezé's tapas selection offers quite a few options that I would like to try including Roman style artichokes, spinach rolls and tiropitakia (feta cheese, leeks, herbs, egg roll wrap, honey and seasame seeds). For our initial adventure, I HAD to try the patatas bravas. I absolutely love patatas bravas and I enjoy exploring each restaurant's rendition. Mezé's is one of my favorite incarnations of patatas bravas. We have ordered them several times since our first visit!

Chicken Kabobs marinated with a delicious yogurt marinade. |
We also ordered the chicken kabobs to share. The kabobs are marinated in yogurt which helps keep them deliciously tender. Once again, the kabobs developed into a quick favorite that we have already ordered several times. So yummy, Mezé!

Margherita Flatbread with fresh roasted tomatoes. |
My daughter enjoys ordering flatbreads and ordered the Margherita Flatbread with roasted tomatoes. Just yum! I love when flatbreads have freshly roasted tomatoes on top!

Half of the curbside kabob platter I shared with my husband. |
We did order curbside from Mezé. The menu was slightly different. My husband and I split a Chicken Kabob order which included a pita, tomatoes, onions and fried potatoes. Delicious as always!
As you can see, we already have our favorites at
Mezé Mediterráneo! I look forward to dinning at the restaurant again and trying a few new plates. I find the flavors very fresh and wholesome. I have no doubt that we will find more favorites as we try new plates!
