Ongoing through September 20 Butterflies and Blooms, Chicago Botanic Garden, 10AM-5PM, reserve timed entry with Chicago Botanic Garden, tickets for event will be at ticket booth in the garden, Adults: $8, Seniors: $7, Children (3–12 yrs): $6 Children (2 and under): Free, Members receive $1 off each price Garden Plus members are free on Wednesdays, parking $30 per car
Ongoing depending on blooms: Von Bergen's Country Market Sunflower Maze, Hebron, 9AM-8PM weather dependent, $5pp, see Facebook for updates on weather and blooms
Ongoing through August 31 Wilmette History Mystery, follow a trail of clues around Wilmette to solve a mystery, you can download the clues online or obtain booklet at the museum (open Sunday-Thursday 1PM-4:30PM); free; children 13 and under that solve the mystery will receive a coupon for a free individual pizza from Lou Malnati's
Friday July 24:
July 24 Drive In Movie Elf, Lincolnshire, 7PM, features DJ and movie, must reserve tickets, $30 per car, $50 for VIP experience
7/24, 7/25 & 26 Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Outdoor Tours, Oak Park, safety guidelines must be followed, it is preferred that you order tickets online
Saturday, July 25:
July 25 Mayslake Hall Gardens and Grounds Tour, Oak Brook, 9AM-10AM, learn how man and nature shaped the land, $10 pp, must register, ages 12 and up, under 18 must be with adult
July 25 Nature Walks at Fullersburg Woods; 45 minute walks starting on the hour at 9AM, 10AM, 11AM, 12PM, 1PM and 2PM, $2 per person, must wear a mask and maintain 6 foot distances from others, those under 18 must be accompanied by and adult, registration not required
July 25-26 Long Grove Live, a variety of live musical acts throughout the village, see website for details
July 25 & 26 What's On the Menu? River Trail Nature Center, Northbrook, 3PM, it is feeding time for animals living at the center, free, learn about the animals at the nature center, masks & social distancing required
