Over 80 percent of the magical displays on Lightscape's trail will feature new designs created by local and international artists. Several past displays including the Fire Garden and Heritage Tree will have a reimagined presence. Favorites like Winter Cathedral and Singing Trees will be returning.

For the past two seasons, we have reveled during a meander through Lightscape's innovative light creations fusing together engaging, interactive elements, seasonal music features, and multimedia experiences. The one-way trail gracefully leads visitors through one awe-inspiring display to the next. We glowed with amazement as we explored design after design. The artists of Lightscape have truly blended elements into breathtaking experiences!

New to Lightscape, Floraison or Flowering crafted by French artist Pitaya will feature poppies delicately dangling from above. I love, love, love seeing the brilliant poppy field at Chicago Botanic in the warmer months. So, I am pretty excited that this bold and beautiful display has been added for this season!

Chicago Artists Christopher Wren and Fog-Man Enterprises have crafted the McGinley Laser Show in which lasers dance across the water along with music creating images in the sky. I am pretty interested in seeing the images are projected into the sky. Sounds entirely magical! New displays and returning favorites alike are sure to add a special joy and wonderment to the experience!

Lightscape treats visitors to an inventive, multi-sensory experience encouraging outdoor exploration during the holidays! Since its inception, Lightscape has quickly become a family tradition. We delight in the ability to immerse ourselves in an experience blending beautiful lights, sound, fresh air, fire, and more unique experiences.  Lightscape is sure to be a launching pad to many incredible family memories.
