February 11 - March 26 The Orchid Show: Magnified, Chicago Botanic Garden, enjoy an incredible floral infusion inside Chicago Botanic Garden's greenhouses during the Orchid Show, the show features over 10000 orchid blooms and guests will step inside an orchid, a night show is available on certain nights, see website for ticketing information

February 4-December 23 Viking's Voyage, Geneva History Museum, learn about the history of the replica Viking ship in Geneva which started as an attraction at the World's Columbian Exhibition in 1893, $5 per adult, $2 kids and seniors, free for members

March 18 St. Patrick's Weekend Festival, The Forge, Lemont, 12PM, live music, Gaelic games, knitting circle, Irish music school, dance, and more, irish whiskey tasting, tea tasting and more for purchase, free general admission

March 18-19 Maple Syrup Hike, Ryerson, Riverwoods, 12pm-2pm, various times to register for, must register, $6 pp, learn how maple syrup is made

March 18-19 Maple Sugaring, Kline Creek Farm, West Chicago, 1PM-4PM, discover how sap becomes suet using tools from the 1890s, $5 suggested donation
