Earth Day Events at Michael's, Pottery Barn Kids, and Lakeshore Learning

There are some neat Earth Day inspired events at Michael's, Pottery Barn Kids, and Lakeshore Learning stores across the country this weekend.



Michael's will have a free Earth Day Make It, Take It Tote event on Sunday, April 22 from 1PM-3PM or as long as supplies last.  Kids can decorate their own reusable tote for shopping!  If you happen to make a stop at Michael's on Saturday instead, they will have face painting for free from 1PM-3PM (not really an Earth Day-inspired event, but fun anyway!).

Pottery Barn Kids along with National Geographic will be sponsoring a free sunflower seed giveaway Saturday and Sunday (April 21-22) at stores in honor of Earth Day.

Over at Lakeshore Learning, kids will be able to make a "Little Gardener Apron" for free on Saturday, April 21 from 11:00AM-3:00PM.  I love Lakeshore Learning Crafts!

I also encourage everyone to check with their local Whole Foods for events. Many of them in the Chicago area are sponsoring events so I am sure that one in your area is as well!
