Husky Heroes!

We went to the Husky Heroes event at the Morton Arboretum this afternoon. It was fun to see the magnificent dogs in action and to learn about dog sledding. I wanted to share a couple of pictures with you:

The dog in the photo below had two of his legs broken. Talk about an amazing recovery--look at him go!

  

You can still catch the Husky Heroes Event tomorrow from 11AM-4PM at the Morton Arboretum. The event is free with admission. Check here for admission info. You can also find out about adopting a husky at the event and their are plenty of picture opportunities!
