Fresh Vegetable Dip with siggi's {and a Giveaway 12/11/14}

**Disclosure: I did receive complimentary cups of yogurt to create this recipe and bring you this giveaway. No other compensation was received. All opinions are 100% my own.

Ever since my first trip to Iceland a few years ago, I have been hooked on skyr. Good for me that siggi's makes this Icelandic yogurt right here in the United States! I love the flavor and thick, rich texture of skyr. Plus, you will not find any artificial ingredients in siggi's which is a definite plus! Given skyr's thick texture, I thought that it would be a great and healthy base for a dip so I created a Vegetable Dip with siggi's and some of our favorite ingredients. Here is what I used:

1 5.3 oz cup of siggi's plain yogurt
1/2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/2 Tbsp chopped green onion
1/2-1 Tbsp fresh basil, chopped small
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp honey
1 Tbsp sun dried tomatoes, chopped

Making your dip is pretty easy--mix your ingredients and taste for any adjustments due to personal preferences. In fact, my original plan did not include honey or sun dried tomatoes but upon tasting the dip, the blended in magnificently. After you have the right combo for you, voila!

The dip was particularly tasty with carrots so I highly recommend that pairing!

Want to try the dip for yourself or perhaps create your own recipe? We are giving away some skyr to THREE lucky readers so now is your chance! Fill out the giveaway below! Giveaway ends on 12/11/14 and is open to US residents 18-years-old and older. Good luck!
