Chicago Botanic Garden debuted its new fee schedule this week. Now, the garden features a ticket structure that includes plan ahead pricing and added experiences throughout the seasons including the Grand Tram Tour, Butterflies and Blooms and Model Railroad Garden.

Ticket prices currently range from $9.95 to $25.95 per person. Parking is a flat $8 fee per car all year round. I love that parking is one fee throughout the year! Prices will vary according to a number of factors including popular times, attendance levels and weather. Members are always free.
Free Admission Days for Illinois Residents
Chicago Botanic Garden will now feature 52 free admission days for Illinois residents in line with other Chicago area museums and the Brookfield Zoo. To take advantage of free days, you will need to still pre-register. $8 parking still applies.

We recently visited Chicago Botanic Garden during a designated free day. We reserved our tickets online ahead of time, so there was no worry about availability. I do recommend reserving your tickets ahead of time to ensure you receive your desired time and date.
We enjoyed the opportunity to explore the gardens under a coat of snow. The glistening snow added extra charm to the gardens. We especially loved viewing the elements of the Japanese Garden bedazzled with a little snow. So peaceful and striking! The garden also was very much alive with birds. We spotted black-capped chickadees, cardinals, red-bellied woodpeckers, and more. A visit to Chicago Botanic Garden is special in any season.
