June 1 - October 31 Alebrijes: Creatures of a Dream World, Cantigy Park, Wheaton, Alebrijes are Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures, learn about the artists, go on a scavenger hunt for all 48 pieces and more, parking is $10 per car

June 11 - 12 Make a Glass Planet, Patterson Glassworks, Mundelein, 10AM-4PM, $65, appointment preferred

June 11 Family Creek Walk, Severson Dells, Rockford, 1PM-3PM, will be walking in the creek and exploring areas not always explored by the public, closed-toe shoes, ages 6+, under 18 with an adult, $5 pp, $3 for members
