When we travel, we thrive on going down the path less traveled. We often find ourselves eschewing some of the more well known attractions or making more token visits to them in favor of spending more time just wandering around turning over stones. On our trip to New Orleans, I happened to find a brochure for the English Tea Room while at a Louisiana rest area combing for information on plantations. I picked it up thoroughly intrigued. However, I was not sure if we would have time for a visit. As we were deciding what to do on our final day in Louisiana, none of us could resist a visit to the English Tea Room!
