We recently visited the Kohl Children's Museum in Glenview, Illinois. The Museum is such an awesome resource for those with young children. Any child's imagination and creativity will be sparked by the Museum's range of hands-on learning experiences. Plus, the Museum is not too large and can be easily navigated with the little ones. The entire set up is very inviting for little ones. A large portion looks like a little village with a grocery store, veterinarian's office, Potbelly's, library, and nursery.

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Exhibit at Kohl Children's Museum--and a Coupon!

The Kohl Children's Museum has been one of our favorite family attractions over the years. The museum is the perfect place for kids to explore, learn, and grow. I remember how amazed I was when I first entered--the museum has all sorts of real life setups like a grocery store, veterinarian's office, and library where kids can learn through play. Amongst the many exhibits are the water room and the music room--always favorites for any kid! 

Besides their standing exhibits, the museum also has special exhibits. I remember one that they had on Japan a couple of years ago. My daughter was totally enthralled by it and learned a lot about life in Japan.

Currently, the museum has a special exhibit with larger than life pop-up books about the beloved story, The Wizard of Oz! The Wizard of Oz has always been one of my favorites and my daughter has followed down the same yellow brick road. This exhibit is guaranteed to amaze many visitors--young and old. The Wonderful Wizard of Oz exhibit features larger than life pop-up books that dazzle the eyes and stimulates the mind. Each section of this exhibit, based on the book published in 1900 by L.
