A Comfort Feast, Royal Pageantry and Horses at Medieval Times in Schaumburg, Illinois

Medieval Times in Schaumburg, Illinois entertained us this weekend with an evening full of pageantry, fun, excitement and a feast of comfort food. While this was our second visit to Chicago's Medieval Times Castle, I can say that the show, food and atmosphere melded an magical evening that was just as special as our first visit. Medieval Times creates a grand adventure not far from home that I think will come in handy for families in the winter months.

Mother's Day at Medieval Times {Deal}

Wednesday, May 7, 2014

If you are looking for something special to do with Mom and the fam this weekend, you may want to check out Medieval Times. My daughter and I went when she was little bit younger and she loved it. We were on a trip sponsored by her school and I had a great time watching how wrapped up the kids got in all of the jousting action. At one point, the knights tossed roses and the crowd of munchkins went crazy! Medieval Times combines dinner with a show--a good combination. Such a fun time!

If you are interested in visiting Medieval Times, they do have a deal this weekend giving Mom a free ticket on Mother's Day when you buy a full-priced adult ticket using web code MOMWeb through May 11, 2014. So, if you are still looking for something special to do with Mom this weekend, this may be just what you are looking for.

You can keep up with Medieval Times over on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or Instagram.
