Hiking in the Clouds in Cibola National Forest and the Sandia Mountains

 

Albuquerque area hiking offers a range of nature experiences including mountain hiking at various elevations in the Sandia Mountains. We ventured up to Sandia Crest within the Cibola National Forest during our road trip along the Turquoise Trail. Quickly enamored by the view we knew that we would have to return for further exploration, so we once again explored the following morning. Both visits solidified our admiration of the natural beauty of the Sandia Mountains and Cibola National Forest.

Hiking in the Laurel Highlands of Pennsylvania

 

Hiking in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania offers challenging trails which reward with fabulous views and experiences. On our recent adventure in Pennsylvania, we were able to savor a bit of a hike along a rolling, rocky trail in the Laurel Highlands in between rain storms. Treasures unfolded before us within the dense mountain forest impressing upon us that we must return to this wonderland when we have more time to explore.
