Salary: commensurate with experience

Experience:  Bachelor’s required with credits in child development.  Must be familiar with Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS) standards. 

Qualifications: 

·        clear, concise written and verbal communication 
    skills

·        highly organized and detail-oriented

·        personable; able to work well with diversity of 
    people, including parents, students, staff, faculty

·        able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines

Job Responsibilities:

·        hire teachers for a new Lutheran preschool

·        organize and conduct orientations, Open House 
    event(s); give tours to prospective enrollees and 
    parents

·        help design, implement and coordinate recruitment 
    efforts

·        maintain accurate and complete records as required
    by law and administrative procedures

·        manage school’s budget and purchasing

·        supervise and manage staff; evaluate teacher 
    performances
