*****Over the weekend, Deborah fell and broke her hip. She is recovering from surgery, so unfortunately we will need to cancel the Live Auction Cake Sale. The store will be closed today and reopening on Wednesday. We hope Deborah has a smooth recovery!*****

Paint Your World Purple: Upcoming Story Hour and Barrington Relay for Life Event!

Barrington is preparing for the village's annual Relay for Life event on June 10! The event is open to the public and features special relay laps as well as some fun for families. The first lap around the track is a Survivor's Lap, giving survivors a moment to celebrate their victory and allowing participants to honor their incredible journeys. The moving Luminaria Ceremony provides an opportunity to honor those who have survived cancer, those who are still fighting and those we have lost to cancer. This year's Relay for Life will be 5PM-11PM on June 10th at the Barrington Township High School. An evening guaranteed to be full of emotion and inspiration!

Norton's U.S.A.'s 5th Annual Live Auction Cake Sale to benefit Barrington Relay for Life is on May 7, 2016--the day before Mother's Day! The lively event lifts the spirit while supporting a great cause. Bakers are invited to donate cakes to be auctioned off. Cakes are auctioned off in a live auction. Talk about some great, old fashioned fun while helping a worthy cause! Norton's U.S.A. is holding its 4th Annual Live Auction Cake Sale on Saturday, May 9th. All of the proceeds from the lively event benefit Barrington Relay for Life. To participate in the event you can bake a cake, buy a cake or both! Cakes to be donated must be to the store by 12PM on the day of the event. The auction begins at 3PM. In its fourth year, the event is welcoming professional auctioneer Steve Feldman for the first time! If you have never witnessed a professional auctioneer before, Steve will be sure to make the event an even more animated affair! The Saturday {May 10, 2014} before Mother's Day, Norton's U.S.A. will be hosting a Live Auction Cake Sale to benefit Barrington's Relay for Life! This is the third year that Norton's U.S.A. will be hosting the lively event. Last year, the event earned $1,900 for Relay for Life! You can participate by donating a delicious cake, participating in the spirited auction or both! Since the event is the day before Mother's Day, why not pick up a lovely, freshly baked caked for Mom? For those that may be unfamiliar with Norton's U.S.A., Norton's is a General Store in Barrington only selling products made in the U.S.A.
