Mitchell Park Domes in Milwaukee truly offer a splendid warm weather oasis throughout the year. This especially becomes enjoyable during rainy, snowy or cold days. When my daughter was younger, we took quite a few adventures to Milwaukee on cold days to enjoy the warmth and greenery of the Domes. We would couple the visit with a jaunt to the Public Market because who could resist? This week, we realized that it had been so long since our last visit. So, we seized on a free day to take a trip to Milwaukee.

Over the holiday weekend, we escaped for a family adventure in and around delightful Roseville, Minnesota. Roseville is situated just minutes from so many experiences including the downtowns of both Minneapolis and Saint Paul. We were immediately impressed by the variety of choices we had for our family adventure. We put together an itinerary that allowed us to explore a little bit of everything including amusements, shopping, history, art, fabulous food and more. With such a packed schedule, we needed a spot to rest and we were very fortunate to be staying at the relaxing Residence Inn Minneapolis St. Paul/Roseville!
